In Turkey the process of buying property is extremely fast. The system has been standardized by the Turkish Government, so property transactions are normally done within 3 days to a week. The first step for purchasers is to browse through our comprehensive Turkish real estate portfolio. We sell off-plan, newly constructed, and resale apartments and villas across Turkey along with Istanbul. Every property listed on our website displays pictures, home and neighborhood information.
One of our sales representatives will answer your questions when you come to our office and take you to see any homes that suit your budget and specifications. Our sales representatives also have deep local knowledge of all communities, and you’ll also hear about the region you ‘re looking to shop from.
When you have chosen the home you want to purchase, we will arrange for a sales contract to be drawn up and a deposit payable. The agreement outlines all essential aspects of the transaction including terms of payment and, most notably, the issuance of title deeds. We have already done background checks on all of the properties listed on our website, so be confident that the seller is the real owner, and the home has been reviewed for debts and appropriate legal paperwork. Sales contract is written in your own language and in Turkish. You will also need a lawyer at this point, and a translator, from whom we will recommend licensed and registered professionals if you do not already have one.
Appraisal Report Process
An assessment report is a necessary document prior to the transfer of title deeds. This report includes a detailed assessment of the value of a property by the expert assessor, such as taking photos, checking the registry at the Tapu office and checking the registered plans at the municipality, and finally, collecting the comparison prices. The appraisal report is eligible for the signing of title deeds after 2 days.
Signing for the Title Deeds
We’ll help you get a tax number to register, open bank accounts for payment, get your passport translated and notarized, and get ready for pictures. The title deeds office will let us know within a week that the deeds are ready for signature. You and the seller meet at the office for the title deeds. The translator will clarify the procedure, and you will be the official owner of a Turkish home upon signing.
